Value Prop

Today, Dependabot’s schedule.interval supports only predefined intervals: daily, weekly, and monthly. Users need a more flexible way to schedule custom Dependabot update frequencies.

Expected Outcome

Introducing support for cron expressions in schedule.interval in the dependabot.yml file will provide a more generic and robust solution, enabling users to define custom schedules that meet their specific needs.
