Rejected twice from Github Education

Hi everyone,

I've requested Github Education twice and rejected both times. I'm doing my masters at the University of Liverpool but its distance learning so I am in London. The reponse says I am too far away from the school. The issue is that you have to take a picture with your laptop - i opened my student ID from the Liverpool application but it seems to not be accepting this. With distance learning i dont have anything physical to show and because it requires immediate pictures from your laptop i cannot share a screenshot from the university portal. how do i overcome this? This is the only tool I've come across that makes it so difficult. i even verified my school email address.

any help will be appreciated as im a bit frustrated.

Hi, I was also rejected twice at first. Back then, we had to provide proof of university enrollment, which in my case was in Slovenian (and on normal A4 paper with a normal stamp) and was immediately rejected.

Later, I decided to take a picture of my student ID card. Our IDs include a photo of the student, personal details, a symbolic image of the university, and on the back, a holographic sticker as proof of the academic year. When I tried using this, my application was approved immediately.
