I would like to know this as well. I've been running OrbStack for a few days and just today it triggered the macOS dialog to ask for permissions to discover local devices on my network. I denied the request, but why is it even asking for this? |

Orbstack randomly asked for local network permission. Not sure if Orbstack needs it or if it's just a bug.
