Reset/change password not working

Hi there. I have followed the documentation for setting up and overriding with bootstrap all seams fine but whenever I change or reset password it doesn't work. It still accepts the old password. I get the alert saying it has been changed succefully but I've spent all day trying to get this to work.

I even started a fresh django project and only installed allauth, did the set up and the same thing happens and I'm at a loss.
