Storage > Git: branch name in settings ignored, causes errors with sync "invalid branch"

Git server: self-hosted Gitea (Version: 1.21.10)
Git Auth type: basic
Wikijs: version 2.5.303 (docker image: requarks/wiki:2)

When configuring Storage > Git, the The branch to use during pull / push setting is ignored when creating local repo, making the default branch name master instead of specified which leads to sync errors:

when local repo inside container is inspected the branch name is master and pushing changes fails:

quick fix change git default branch name before setting Storage > Git:

git config --global init.defaultBranch main

but this works until you update container. After re-pulling the container is all back to beginning...

I just confirmed the same. What is the point of the Branch setting if it's not even being honored?
Hopefully this being tracked as a fix item, @NGPixel.
