Changelog

  • Files get automatically converted when dragged and dropped.
  • Removed buttons for convert
  • Automatically copying files to Kindle now after successful conversion
  • Added open with support
    • Files get automatically converted and sent to Kindle when opened with Rayk
    • Also works if you add the Rayk icon to your dock and drag a file onto the Rayk icon
  • If using open with, you can open only one file at a time.
    • If using open with, Rayk gives a success/failure alert once finished and automatically closes after that.
  • Fixed some bugs, added some error handling
  • Licensed Rayk under the MIT license
  • Packaged using electron-builder instead of electron-packager

Known Bugs

  • If you open Rayk and then drag a file onto the main window, it works for the first file but fails for the 2nd file and Rayk quits.
  • If rayk is open and you drag a file onto the Rayk icon on your dock, nothing happens
    • Workaround is to drag it onto the Rayk main window instead.

Currently, pre-built binaries available only for OSX x64. You can always download and run manually on other platforms, though.
