Roadmap

Version 1.0 Goals

User features:

• A preference editor
• Port a lot of textmate bundle commands to Redcar commands
• Installers for OS X, Windows, and Linux
• Fork by default on 3 platforms
• Simple plugin manager using RubyGems API
• A Build menu for exposing the Runnable Commands functionality to the user
• Move the Tab Info fields into the toolbar

Internal:

• Keybindings overhaul (keys without menu items, trees/documents can have keys)

Done:

• Nicer indenter
• Support -w (e.g. editing git commits)
• Incremental search in the buffer
• Plugins for languages (redcar-ruby, redcar-groovy, redcar-clojure)
• Customizable keybindings
