Did you determine that these will need to be used outside of the sync engine? I'm not sure if we will need to use these in KV since we hit the general associations endpoint. If that's the case it's probably better to move these inside the sync engine.

Gotcha sounds good.

Since the main app is consuming all addons/engines I think it would be fine to import the utils from the model files if they lived in the sync engine.

Is it worth expanding the tests to cover the POST and DELETE endpoints now or something that we will come back to? There is also an endpoint to list all destinations.
