There was some commits for xhci support to make Sonoma work. Those broke inputs for ehci or something, in any case mouse input will no longer work on Ventura. But Ventura was "recommended". The PR changes this to recommend Sonoma. All past 10.5 are bloatware anyway, so there should be no harm changing the default.

have you installed Sonoma / sequoia? and it works fine for you ? |

Nothing I tried worked really fine but I'm just playing with this since a
day or two. Can't really comment on that. I can just say the current
"recommended" release has a problem with the usb changes for the next
release, which wasn't recommended. Makes no sense.
